Yuvi for millions of his fans, the 34-year-old cricketer will put about Rs 50 crore – mostly his own money – over a period of three to five years in the fund, YouWeCan Ventures. The fund is expected to raise around Rs 300 crore from other investors during the period.
YouWeCan Ventures has already put together a team of that will help startups in technological, financial, marketing among other business aspects. YouWeCan Ventures is expected to announce its first investment by June, right after the IPL season where Singh is playing for Delhi Daredevils.
